Marc Diana - Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Diana has utilized his extensive experience over the last decade in
the interactive marketplace to launch LeadPoint.com. Just prior to
LeadPoint, he served in a business and corporate development
capacity for eCompanies venture LowerMyBills.com. Mr. Diana also
spent several years as Vice President of Business and Corporate
Development for Innovent Group, an early stage investment and
management company. He previously co-founded and served as
President and board member for Broadband Studios, as well as led the
formation of strategic alliances and the acquisition of new business
relationships as the VP of Business Development at Media Revolution.
As an interactive expert, Mr. Diana has lent his expertise to a variety of
industries including retail, travel, finance, media, manufacturing and the
entertainment fields. He has assisted companies including Twentieth
Century Fox, iXL, Mitsubishi, Staples, Sony Pictures Entertainment,
Technicolor, Kia Motors, Mirage Resorts, Electronic Arts, Mattel,
Charter Communications, DirecTV, Countrywide Home Loans, Disney
and Warner Bros.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Diana also served on the founding team for
National Geographic Interactive, where he managed sales, marketing
and distribution. He also held marketing and sales positions at Sony
Pictures Entertainment.
Per Pettersen - Founder, Chief Science Officer
As CSO, Mr. Pettersen utilizes his extensive e-business experience in
software and product development and technology operations to head
LeadPoint’s technology development and operations. In addition to
LeadPoint, Mr. Pettersen has founded and currently serves as CEO for
Estalea, an innovative entrepreneurial company that focuses on
creating a network of new Internet businesses.
Prior to Estalea, Mr. Pettersen served as senior vice president and
chief technology officer of Commission Junction. Pettersen provided
strategic technology leadership and oversaw engineering, quality
assurance and technology operations. As part of a corporate turn-
around, Mr. Pettersen implemented substantial cost containment
initiatives that had significant impact on the company’s bottom line and
provided a quick turn-around to a profitable company and subsequent
sale to ValueClick. Mr. Pettersen retained the position of vice president
of technology at ValueClick (NASDAQ:VCLK), which provides a wide
range of products and services that enables agencies, advertisers and
publishers to cost-effectively reach, recruit and retain online customers.
Mr. Pettersen also founded and served as CEO for Active Internet
Marketing.
Jeffrey Spain - Chief Financial Officer
Jeffrey Spain has served as the company’s CFO since its 2004 launch,
bringing with him 20 years of CFO, Internet and investment banking
experience. As CFO, Mr. Spain is directly responsible for all financial
operations as well as legal, human relations, business intelligence, IT,
operations, and customer integration/support departments.
Prior to joining LeadPoint, Mr. Spain served as CFO of Digital
Entertainment Solutions, where he oversaw financial reporting,
budgeting, strategic planning, and fund-raising activities. Prior to DES,
Mr. Spain co-founded and served as CFO and COO of Los Angeles-
based eNutrition, Inc., a B-to-C e-commerce company. Under Mr.
Spain’s direction, eNutrition raised more than $30 million in venture
capital from firms such as Brentwood Venture Capital, Idealab Capital
Partners and Entertainment Media Ventures and eventually
successfully merged with a traditional storefront retailer.
Prior to founding eNutrition, Mr. Spain spent eight years as an
investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston, most recently as a
vice president and the chief operating officer for the firm’s Los Angeles
office. During his tenure, he was directly responsible for initiating and
managing client relationships and played significant roles in
successfully executing over $11 billion in public/private financings and
strategic transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, for the firm.
Mr. Spain received his Masters of Business Administration from the
Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and earned his
Bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Methodist University in
Dallas, Texas.
Ben Zamanzadeh - Vice President of Engineering
As Director of Engineering at Yahoo Search and Advertising
Technology Group, Mr. Zamanzadeh led the Domain Match
development team since January 2006. Under Ben’s technical
leadership Domain Match revenue increased by 100% in a short time.
Mr. Zamanzadeh brings knowledge of scalable high performance
systems, matching and optimization technologies, computational
advertising as well as solid team building and strategic management
capabilities.
Previously, Mr. Zamanzadeh served as Director of Technology at
Reuters where he established the technical strategy and led the
development efforts for leading brokerage, trading and financial
products. Mr. Zamanzadeh pioneered several generations of the Web
Based products within Reuters and his innovative approach has been
instrumental in the growth of Reuters’ market share in US equities.
Prior to Reuters, Mr. Zamanzadeh was Vice President of Software
Development and head of R&D at several high tech and start up
companies, he was responsible for building products in the area of
Information Commerce, Optical Networks, Voice over IP, data
warehousing, avionics, advance data acquisition and control systems.
Mr. Zamanzadeh holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA,
where he worked with Internet pioneers. He has a joint Masters degree
in Computer Science and MBA from UCLA and BS in Electrical
Engineering. He currently serves on the UCLA Computer Science
Alumni Advisory Board and has several patents and awards for his
work in Internet, Financial and Avionics systems.
Scott Shanker - Vice President, Strategic Accounts
Scott brings 14 years of Financial Services business development
experience to LeadPoint. As Vice President, Strategic Accounts, he is
responsible for corporate partnerships and top client relationships
across the Mortgage, Education, and Credit Card Debt verticals. Over
the last 9 years, he has been a leader in the online lead generation
industry with specific focus on national client sales and growth.
Previous to LeadPoint, Scott led national sales and account
management teams at 2 other companies within the space,
GetSmart.com and LowerMyBills.com. At LowerMyBills.com, he was
the first sales hire and was instrumental in leading team expansion,
scaling revenue growth from $10 million to $200 million+, and the eventual
sale of the company to Experian in 2005.
Mr. Shanker holds a BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University.
Raj Parekh - Vice President, Strategic Partnerships
Raj Parekh joins LeadPoint with over 10 years of business development
and management experience with a focus on developing top tier client
accounts and technology partnerships at Internet start-up companies.
Prior to joining LeadPoint, Raj founded LeadROI, an industry leading
CRM solution provider, where he served as CEO. At LeadROI he led and
managed partnerships and integrations with major lead providers, lead
exchanges, online marketing companies, and value added service providers.
His strong general management skills and ability to translate product ideas
into executable plans enabled LeadROI to become a industry
leader and eventually get acquired.
Prior to LeadROI, Raj was President of Webmerge Software, where he led the
sale, implementation and development of custom software solutions for medium
to Fortune 500 size organizations. Raj has also served in senior business
development roles at companies focused on cellular and wireless Internet
technologies.
Raj holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Kansas and a JD
from the University of Tulsa School of Law.
